READY TO TAKE ACTION TO HELP PRESERVE THE PLANET?
THE CHALLENGE MAY SEEM GREAT, BUT THERE ARE SMALL STEPS YOU CAN TAKE EVERY DAY TO HELP BRING NATURE BACK AND SPARK TRANSFORMATIVE CHANGE.
Canines for Africa needs continued support and funding. We would ask anyone who has been moved
by the issues in the film or who wants to help support the brave rangers in their vital work to visit
K94A’s own website and donate directly to them:

Really, it’s that simple. Tweet, post, blog, pin, whatever about the film and the issues at its heart. The further we can spread the word about what K94A has done the better chance we have to deploy more units out in National Parks.
Would you, or someone you know, like to sponsor your own personal K9 Unit? Each unit - comprising a
fully trained anti-poaching dog, eight-week training with independent assessment for his ranger at our
centre in South Africa, extensive equipment and one year of monitoring and integration at the
recipient reserve – costs $32,000. Your support will make a monumental difference in our battle to
save endangered species. Should you wish to support K94A, we would be delighted to give you further information on
Canine for Africa’s activities, successes and future challenges.
Please contact vvw@K94A.org for more information.
Since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, tourism has all but ceased, forcing operators to let go
of their staff, security and anti-poaching units. This has led to sky-rocketing poaching rates, for which
many parks are no longer equipped.
Instead of cancellations, postpone any travel plans you have made so National Parks still receive
income, and the canines can continue to protect the park’s species. By visiting South Africa’s national
parks as a tourist, you not only enliven trade, you also support the ranger’s income and communities
in poverty surrounding the parks.
